Specialties: Functional Neurosurgery. The first person in China to perform deep brain stimulation surgery for Parkinson’s disease (2000). An expert in treatment for Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, torsion spasm, central intractable pain, and vegetative patient awakening with brain pacemakers. Nearly 3,000 successful treated cases, with surgical outcomes reaching advanced levels both domestically and internationally. Published over 70 articles at home and abroad. Received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation and the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission’s key research fund. Won multiple second prizes for scientific and technological progress by both the Shanghai Municipality and the military.
